Supervision for the counselling or psychotherapy practitioner is an essential part of taking care of oneself, of ongoing self-awareness and commitment to development. Increasingly, the value of supervision is also being recognised within other professions and I welcome the opportunity to work with teaching, medical and business professionals.
I provide a safe space for you to explore your work in the context of a mutual and respectful relationship. The work we do together is likely to be supportive, reflective and challenging.
My core therapeutic model is Person Centred, however my supervision training provided me with the skills necessary to supervise counsellors across modalities. I welcome the opportunity to work with Person Centred, Psychodynamic, Adlerian and Integrative practitioners.
I also recognise the importance of supervision in my own work and, as well as attending to the needs of my clients through supervision, I meet regularly with a SOS (Supervision of Supervision Group) to review and consider my work as a supervisor.
