For Therapists & Professionals
As a supervisor I aim to provide a respectful, supportive and encouraging relationship, where we can work holistically and take all elements of your working practice and personal life into consideration. I am committed to helping you find positive and creative ways forward for you and your clients and to help you move towards your own development goals as a therapist and professional.
Our work is likely to be reflective and challenging and my hope is that you can talk freely about difficulties and successes in your work so that through careful reflection learning can take place. I ask that you commit to the code of ethics of your profession and that you are a member of an appropriate professional organisation.
I offer one-to-one supervision to newly trained and experienced counsellors, therapists and other professionals. My supervision training has given me the skills to work with supervisees of different backgrounds and theoretical approaches. My own client work is informed by humanistic counselling, CBT and EMDR so an interest in one or more of these approaches could make us an especially good fit in a supervisory relationship but this is not essential. I have a certificate in supervision awarded by Cambridge Supervision Training and am accredited by ASIIP.
If you are interested in working with me please get in touch for a chat. An initial session would be arranged where we can get to know each other a bit and discuss how you work as well as your expectations of supervision and your main professional development goals. Currently I am working online only and plan to continue to do so in the future although if you are local to my practice in Thriplow we can work together in person once the COVID 19 crisis has passed.
